The Statistical Archive of Maldives is the result of hard work and valuable contributions made by the relevant staff of the statistics division of the Department and the staff of concerned agencies, including atoll offices and island offices over the past decades. We gratefully acknowledge their cooperation and support, in providing the information. The individual data sources are mentioned below the respective tables.

The Statistical Archive of Maldives was compiled by the staff of the Statistics Development and Coordination Section of the Statistics Division in the Department of National Planning. Data compilation, editing and verification process was carried out by Ms. Maharath Ahmed and Ashiyath Shazna, assisted by Mr. Ahmed Shaheed, Ms. Rasheeda Najeeb and Aishath Yumna, under the overall guidance of Ms. Aishath Shahuda.

We would also like to acknowledge the assistance and support provided by the entire team at Statistics Division in the verification of data in the publication at various stages of the compilation process.

We salute the services rendered by the staff who worked in the compilation of previous edition of the Statistical Yearbooks in Statistics Division of the Department and those who provided the data related to in the statistics units of line-ministries and in the island and Atoll offices.
