Maldives Labour force survey (LFS) commenced on 28th October 2024. This is a quarterly survey will be conducted within Male’, Hulhumale and Villimale’ every month. Data collection for November will be from 24th November – 30th November 2024. Our Enumerators will be visiting households from 8:30 hrs until 18:30 hrs during all days from 24th November – 30th November 2024 (Except Friday). During filed visits our enumerators will be wearing MBS Official cards and will have LFS Circular and approval.

- To determine employment and unemployment rates
- To find migration rates for population projections
- To obtain data for the Decent Jobs Indicator
- To assess the progress of SDG’s
